Comments Bob's temperament is what every newf should have.  He has never had a cross word with any other male or female dog. He is very gentle with children. He is our largest Newf at 165 pounds. He is playful and prances around like a pony.  Bob talks to us and can let us know exactly what he wants.

He never liked the show ring but tolerated it . When he was six I stopped making him go as he was so unhappy always did what I asked but he was not happy about it.  He "retired" from the show ring with 8 points, including one major win.

He loves being a porch newf lying on our back porch when the weather is cool, and in the bedroom closet when it is hot.
